The Club Sentry Front Desk module allows you to use 2 monitors on one computer. Use one monitor to do your work and the second monitor, and one of our bar code readers, to check members in. This configuration allows you use one computer as both a workstation and a member facing Check-in screen.

Monitor 1:

Monitor 1 is used to run the main Club Sentry application or any other application that you may need to run. Just check the "Use Front Desk on Secondary Screen" box in the Check-in screen of the main monitor and open the Club Sentry Front Desk module. If you have the Check-in screen open on monitor 1 you will see the details of each members check-in including pictures and messages.

Monitor 2:

Monitor 2 is used for the Club Sentry Front Desk module and is usually placed so that the member can see it. When a member scans their bar coded ID card, their information appears on the Front Desk screen along with picture, messages, warnings and basic membership information. With extension cables for the monitor and bar code scanner, you can place Monitor 2 and the bar code reader a considerable distance from the computer.

In addition to the basic requirements for Club Sentry, the Front Desk module requires:

• Computer with video card with dual screen capability or 2 video cards. Contact your computer seller or manufacturer for dual monitor configuration information.
• 2 monitors (minimum of 17" in size. 19" monitor recommended)
• Bar Code Reader (either our bar code slot reader or hand held laser scanner)
